Event Notes

AREA DESCRIPTION:

The terrain features complex karst limestone. The area is very open with scattered trees, offering fast running between the bands of complex rock.

Approximately 90 minutes from Canberra via Wee Jasper Road.

ENTRIES:

Entries close 11:59pm Wednesday 27 May.

Member adult $27, member junior (under 21) $14, member family $68. Non-member adult $42, non-member junior $32, non-member family $116. Hire of sportident stick $5.

Late entries available until 5:00pm Saturday 30 May. +50% late entry fee applies.

COURSES:

Hard 1, Hard 2, Hard 3, Hard 4, Hard 5, Moderate 1, Moderate 2, Easy, Very Easy.

COURSE SETTER'S NOTES:

Middle distance style orienteering. The courses are spectator friendly. Longer courses pass nearby the finish mid-course providing opportunities for spectators to cheer. Shorter hard courses have been planned to avoid the most dangerous rocks, but they are still rocky nonetheless. The rocks are very visible and stable, but if you are not confident on your feet and/or have unstable ankles please take care and consider your options.

STARTS:

Between 10:00am and 12:00pm.

COURSE CLOSURE:

Courses close at 2:00pm. You must report to the finish by 2:00pm, whether you have finished your course or not.
